Canoe / Kayak
The River Ardèche is one of the most popular destinations in France for Canoe / Kayak enthusiasts. The good news is that the descent of this unspoilt river is suitable for almost everybody. You just need to know how to swim and to paddle! The cliffs on either side of the gorge rise to about 300 metres and provide a magnificent backdrop to a memorable experience. The gently meandering river interspersed with exhilerating rapids makes a real wonder of nature.
For the more adventurous there are numerous tributries of the River Ardeche that offer more demanding descents.
